Asbury Cafe' Donation to Local Charities

The Asbury Cafe' ministry plans to give away $64,000 from the 2024 State Fair Cafe'!  The proceeds from selling 1677 pies at the New Mexico State Fair in September will go to local charities that feed people, including The Storehouse, Meals on Wheels, Good Shepherd, The Rock at NHoon day, East Mountain Food Pantry, Silver horizons, South Albuquerque Cooperative Ministry, Family Promise, Rio Grande Food Project, Barrett Foundation, God Cares About You and the Lobo Food Pantry.  The cafe' has been a mission of Asbury since 1960.  Thank you to all who helped make it another successful year!!

A reception to honor all those from Asbury who helped with the cafe is scheduled for Sunday, November 17 at 12:30pm.
