On Easter Sunday in 1954, Leonard and Bernice Nichol began a new church in their small home on nearby Salem Ave, NE. On July 20, 1957, the distinctive A-frame structure we worship in today was dedicated to the praise of God. Many renovations and additions have led to the campus we have today, used for worship, fellowship, and service to our community.
Worship at Asbury is traditional in style and casual in attire. Come as you are to worship, fellowship, and be inspired in your Christian journey!
Children's time is offered during both services.
Holy Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month.
Asbury United Methodist Church is a vibrant, enthusiastic community making disciples of Jesus Christ, whose mission is to love God and share that love with the world!
