We're so glad you're here!
We've saved a seat for you!

We're so glad that you have chosen to visit us at Asbury United Methodist Church.  Below are the answers to a few commonly asked questions that we hope will make your first visits enjoyable.  We look forward to meeting you and having you as a part of the Asbury family!

  • What is it like?
    • Worship at Asbury is traditional in style.  We honor the traditional, Methodist liturgy in a casual, uplifting setting.  A weekly message is delivered, inspired by God's word.  Hymns are generally tradition, though we do embrace contemporary music at times as well!
  • What about my kids?
    • Children are welcome to join us for worship!  A children's time is held during each service to engage children in the message of the day.  Activity booklets are available for busy minds during service as well.
  • Where do I park?
    • You will find ample parking when you arrive at Asbury.  There are dedicated visitor spots located in the east parking lot, nearest the main entrance as well.
  • What do I wear?
    • Dress casual, or wear your Sunday best!  You'll find a blend of all attire at either service.  What's important is that you are here!
  • How can I get connected?
    • You will be greeted at the entrance to the sanctuary.  Please stop there and let us get to know you and welcome you with a small gift!  Please fill out the included welcome card with any information you would like for us to have as well.  Click here to learn more about Asbury's ministries and opportunities to get involved.
  • Are you accessible?
    • Yes!  Asbury seeks to ensure the inclusion of persons with disabilities in our church and worship activities.  We have ADA-compliant wheelchair ramps into the building and maintain reserved areas in their sanctuary for wheelchairs.  Hearing assistance devices and large print bulletins are available from the ushers for worship services.
  • How do I join Asbury?
    • We'd love to visit with you more about membership at Asbury.  You don't need to be a United Methodist or a member of another faith community to become a member of Asbury.  Simply contact Reverend Joe to learn more about Asbury and the significance of this step in your spiritual life.
