The Asbury Senior Council is once again sponsoring a Silver Horizons Giving Tree, benefitting low-income seniors in the Albuquerque area.  The tree will be in the breezeway beginning Sunday, November 24 - January 1.  Paper ornaments on the tree will designate an item you can donate.  Please choose an ornament (or two!) and bring your donation UNWRAPPED PLEASE to the large box next to the tree.  Items include hats, gloves, slippers, magnifying glasses, small toys for children and more.  Among the 2,000+ seniors that are served by Silver Horizons, approximately 40% of them have grandchildren living with them, and many of them survive on an income of $500 per month.  Your generous donations will be delivered to Silver Horizons the first week of January.
